How To Use Eggshells to Treat Caries

One of the most common disorders of the maxillary system are caries that affects almost all population. Dental caries are manifested by progressive loss and localized of dental hard tissue. The most important factors that influence the decay are non oral hygiene, smoking, stress, increased consumption of foods with high sugar content etc.

Typically these caries occur without you realize, because you observe them only in an advanced stage. In a late stage dental decay can cause pain, sensitivity to hot or cold and bad breath.

These symptoms should alarm you and follow sooner an effective treatment to get rid of caries. Otherwise the condition may advance to the stage where you can lose your teeth.

One of the most important ingredients that you need to have healthy teeth is calcium. We all know that a rich source of calcium are egg shells.

If you have caries and want to treat them naturally, all you have to do is to prepare an egg shell toothpaste.

You need:

  • 1/4 cup of egg shells powder ( you obtain it by crushing very well egg shells)
  • few drops of mint oil
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon of baking soda

Mix very well all the ingredients, until you obtain a paste. Keep this paste in a recipient that you can close.

Mint oil is very effective for a fresh breath, and baking soda helps in whitening the teeth. Use this toothpaste 2-3 times per day and you’ll not have problems with caries anymore.
