10 Foods You Should Not Put In The Fridge

Bananas – If you keep bananas in the fridge, they will become black faster. To keep fresh bananas for a longer time, it is recommended to wrap them in a plastic bag.

Avocado – Did you bought a green and fresh avocado? Do not put it in the fridge. Keep it in a paper bag to not fasten its ripening.

 Olive oil – If you keep olive oil in the fridge, will become thick and matte. The only type of oils you should keep in the fridge are nuts oils.

Honey – Honey never alters. There is no need to keep it in the fridge. You have to be careful to keep it well closed.

Bread –  If you keep the bread in the fridge, bread will change its texture and will become harder. If you can’t consume it, wrap it in some paper and keep it in the fridge.

Onion – The humidity from the fridge will soak the onion and will make it to have mold. Keep the onion in a dry and dark place.

Coffee – The coffee kept in the fridge will loss its flavour and will absorb the smell of other aliments.

Basil – The basil kept in the fridge, risk to frozen. The most indicated is to keep it in your kitchen, in a bowl with water.

Garlic – If you keep the garlic in the fridge will sprout and will have mold.

Potatoes – The texture of potatoes will become sandy and the taste will be sweet, because the low temperature will transform the starch in sugar.
